• Must be a MD, DO, NP, PA, RN, APRN, or DDS. Trainer will request a copy of licensure and certification.
• Must have a medical supervisor if you hold a license in IN that requires such supervision (medical director, collaborating physician). 

Training entails a 7 hour 1:1 cosmetic injector immersion experience with advanced injector and nurse educator Lindsay Munden. Lindsay will travel to your office, med spa, or clinic for this training day. Emphasis will be on applying safe and evidence-based techniques for neurotoxin and dermal filler injections on model patients recruited by your practice. Courses are designed to cater around the student’s pre-determined needs accounting for their skill and experience level. 

All trainings include: review of facial anatomy, proper patient selection, consultation and informed consent, pre- and post-treatment instructions, mechanism of action, rheology of products, indications and contraindications for treatment, side effects and complications, proper skin prep and patient screening, demonstration and hands-on training with FDA approved injectable products. 

The injector training is meant to supplement your certification course by providing a more hands-on approach for the learning with an advanced injector guiding you through each patient treatment during a 7 hour day. Trainees will provide their own FDA approved products, supplies, and model patients for the event. Pre-screening assessments of model patients including health history collection and candidacy for treatment must be completed by your medical director prior to the event date. 

If you do not yet have an office space or clinic, arrangements can be made to utilize the Aesthetic Beauty Lounge located in Valparaiso, IN. Trainer is available most weekdays, however a 2 to 4 week advanced notice is required to schedule. Friday and Saturday courses have an additional fee. Travel fees will also apply if distance is greater than 150 miles from Valparaiso, IN. If travel is more than a 3 hour drive, flight and hotel cost may also be applicable and paid by trainee.
